Project Scope

Techno Consult, Inc., is providing Construction Management Oversight (CMO) services for the Program Management team in providing Boiler Replacement, related Ancillary Services and Upgrade of Domestic Hot Water System at James Weldon Johnson Houses in Manhattan, and Mott Haven Houses, in the Bronx, NY. The construction cost for these projects is approximately $ 50 million.

Johnson Houses consists of 10 high rise buildings with a total of 1,310 Apartment Units, and Mott Haven which consists of 9 high rise buildings and a total of 993 Apartment Units.

The scope of work consists of the installation of temporary boilers and provide new  state-of-the-art gas fired heating plant units, new hot water heaters and associated upgrades for both of the developments. These projects will help in significantly improving the quality of life for the residents at these two developments.
