Project Scope

Techno, as a part of their Prime Consultant Requirements Contract for Design and Engineering Related Services Contract, is providing full design and engineering for complex pedestrian ramps across various locations throughout the Brooklyn.

The scope of work is to perform preliminary through final design services across 35 intersections in the borough of Brooklyn, community boards 7, 10, 11 & 12. The intersection types vary between stop controlled, signalized, and no control intersections through various high trafficked areas of Brooklyn. The design intent is to create ADA compliant crossings at all intersections within the contract in order to achieve federal compliance.

Our services include Preliminary Inspection – visually surveying all contract locations and determining feasibility of each corner, possible complexities etc and presenting our findings to the client. Initiating topographic survey of all locations, utility coordination, Schematic Design services, cost estimating and delivery of PS&E Documents.
