Techno is seeking a detailed oriented Cost Engineer to join our project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling costs across large-scale programs. You will work closely with project teams to track expenditures, manage budgets, and transform data into comprehensive monthly reports.

Job Description:

  • Manage and monitor cost control processes for large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with budget and expenditure goals.
  • Enter and manage data within project management information systems (PMIS) including eBuilder, Unifier, and Kahua, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
  • Generate detailed monthly reports on financial performance, budget adherence, and overall project cost management.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial data is accurately reflected in cost forecasts.
  • Utilize advanced data management tools, including Power BI, Microsoft Access, and Excel, to analyze, visualize, and report on financial data.
  • Leverage knowledge of table structures and data within PMIS to ensure seamless data integration and reporting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making and cost optimization.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 10 years of Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of PMIS platforms such as eBuilder, Unifier, and Kahua.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Access, Excel, and data management systems.
  • Familiarity with cost management, budget forecasting, and expenditure tracking on large-scale programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data and insights to various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working on construction or infrastructure projects preferred.

Pay: $79,143.60 - $151,691.67 per year
