Techno's President, Khalid Mallick, presents at 2019 NEDAT's Scholarship Awards Dinner

In March of 2019, Techno Consult sponsored the Annual NEDATS Scholarship Awards Dinner which was held in Edison, NJ. A Civil Engineering graduate of NED University (Karachi, Pakistan) in 1981, Mr. Mallick has used this annual forum to give back to the university that gave him so much and helped him achieve his dreams.

Techno and Khalid have both been long time donors to the NED Alumni Association, and following last year's initiative to make the program more inclusive for college students to receive scholarships towards academic pursuits that are merit based. This year, Mr. Mallick decided to award two separate under-represented communities within the engineering sphere, including the Haitian American Engineers Association and The National Society of Black Engineers. Having come from humble beginnings himself, Mr. Mallick understands the value of community support as a pillar of success. The NEDATS community has long served as a pillar of support for its students and alumni, and we hope that we continue to flourish as a inclusive community going forward.
