Techno's President, Khalid Mallick, presents at Annual NEDAT's Scholarship Awards Dinner

In March of 2018, Techno Consult sponsored the Annual NEDATS Scholarship Awards Dinner in Edison, NJ. Having graduated himself from NED University (in Karachi, Pakistan) in 1981, Khalid Mallick has used this annual forum to give back on a consistent basis. Techno and Khalid have both been long time donors to the NED Alumni Association, but this year he felt it was time to initiate a change and make the program more inclusive.

Every year, children of NED Alumni, or recent NED Alumni receive scholarships towards academic pursuits. This year, Mr. Mallick decided to award a different minority group -- The National Society of Black Engineers, who were tasked with identifying a financially deserving college student from an under-represented community. Having come from humble beginnings himself, Mr. Mallick understands the value of community support as a pillar of success. The NEDATS community has long served as a pillar of support for its students and alumni, and we hope that we continue to flourish as a inclusive community going forward.
