Farhan Syed, P.E. has joined Techno

Techno is pleased to announce that Farhan Syed, P.E., joined Techno in 2017. As a Vice President in our New York City office, Farhan will be responsible for developing Techno’s capabilities and portfolio in the Public Buildings and Vertical Construction Market Sector. Additionally, he will be overseeing the Operations for Techno’s Buildings and Infrastructure markets across New York and New Jersey.

Farhan has over 25 years of professional experience in the planning, design, and construction of major facility and infrastructure projects. Prior to his decision to join Techno, Farhan served as the Vice President for Construction Programs for the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). In this position with NYCHA, Farhan was responsible to lead NYCHA’s Capital Project Division (CPD) project management teams in managing a wide range of construction projects in the agency’s Capital Plan from inception to completion. Prior to his tenure with NYCHA, Farhan served as a Vice President at HAKS, where he managed a portfolio of multiple facility and infrastructure projects for various City and State agencies.

Farhan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and received his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Farhan is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.
