Techno Consult has recently become a member of the construction management team for the $7.4B New Terminal One Project at JFK International Airport in Queens and has begun providing professional staff to the construction team lead by AECOM-Tishman/Walsh. The New Terminal which will be constructed to World Class Standards and will begin after the phased demolition of existing Terminals 1, 2 and the Green Garage and will have new wide body gates, a new ground transportation center and will integrate the existing JFK Air Train. The Ground Transportation Center will possess an iconic international marketplace while providing a grand view of the air field. All work will be performed in a phased manner to create minimal impact to the exiting Terminal’s operations and its regular commuters until the Terminal is completed by 2025.
