Message from Our Chairman & CEO

Our firm’s origin comes from humble beginnings – I migrated to the US, Norman Oklahoma to be exact, from Pakistan back in 1987 to pursue my Masters in Civil Engineering at The University of Oklahoma. After studying here, working for over 20 years to build my credibility, I set out to pursue my entrepreneurial dream. In 2001, I founded Techno with a simple vision: to build an organization rooted in integrity, precision, and accountability.

What began as a small Construction Management firm, has now blossomed into a multi-faceted Engineering Services firm, with hundreds of employees delivering some of the region’s most complex infrastructure programs across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Today, Techno’s impact can be seen in the systems that move millions — transit systems, water infrastructure, and civic spaces that define our communities. We have built a world-class team with Leadership that comes from both Industry and Public Sector, along with skilled engineering talent that has experience to deliver a variety of infrastructure projects. I feel lucky and humbled to work with our team every day, so we can continue to innovate and push the envelope with our strategy.

As we look toward the next 25 years, our focus remains the same: to execute with discipline, embrace innovation responsibly, and help shape the future of public infrastructure across the country. The journey that began with a dream continues with purpose — Manage Better Infrastructure.
