PANYNJ Replacement and Upgrade of World Trade Center – PATH Station
Techno Consult is providing professional services directly as an extension of staff to the Engineering & Maintenance unit of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Techno is providing oversight of construction activities and coordination of work for various PATH construction projects
WTC Construction Inspection of Underpinning of MTA/9 Subway 9
Provided inspection of construction during underpinning (preloading/loading) phase of the MTA/9 Subway line, including excavation of earth and rock from beneath the Subway, construction of concrete slabs, walls, and footings as well as steel bracing all in specific sequence as to not undermine the structure above. Other responsibilities include the demolition, excavation and clean-up for Towers Two, Three, Four & Path Hub building areas.
WTC – PATH Substation/Electrical System Upgrade
Provided electrical inspection of layout installation plan for fiber optic and radiating cable with addition to coordinating testing and Inspection for project installations. Oversee structural inspections of rebar installation, the construction of slurry walls, the erection of steel for temporary World Trade Center Station, the installations of tie backs, and form work for foundations and concrete pours.
WTC – Mechanical Equipment Room Upgrade
Provided mechanical inspection and testing for mechanical equipment room upgrades and rehabilitation, hot water generators, breeching, piping installation/replacement/upgrades, water distribution systems, building management systems, HVAC installation and controls, fire alarm upgrades, security system upgrades and pump systems as required by NYC Department of Building Codes, NFPA, PANYNJ compliance with contract documents.
