PANYNJ JFK The New Terminal One Redevelopment

Techno is a participant in the new $9.5 Billion JFK New Terminal One project being executed by a private consortium which has chosen AECOM/Tishman and Gensler as it’s Design Build partner and as its primary lead contractors.

Techno is providing Construction Management Services for the New Terminal One project at John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport in Queens, NY. The project involves building a 2.4 million square-foot new international terminal in place of the current Terminal One, Two and Three (former) locations. The New Terminal One will be the largest Terminal at JFK International Airport and all of the work will be performed in a concurrent effort by other airlines of the Facility and the Port Authority as part of JFK overall $18 Billion modernization program.

Techno is supporting AECOM/Tishman’s team in all disciplines necessary, ranging from Project Management to MEP experience Construction Superintendents to build the New Terminal One, which will have 23 gates and will encompass over 300,000 square feet of dining retail, lounges and recreational space.

The arrivals and departures hall and new airline gates are scheduled to open in 2026. The project is currently being delivered through a design-build contract approach, with some key stakeholders already appointed, including architects Gensler and AECOM, alongside specialty consultants in architecture and engineering and multiple specialty firms.
