NYCHA Project Control Quality Assurance and Performance Management
Techno Consult, Inc., is providing Project Controls & Construction Management Services for this project. Techno is helping NYCHA’s Capital Project Division in developing user friendly management tools for managing and monitoring capital asset portfolios’ construction projects. These project control tools will help NYCHA oversee the construction manager’s performance through collecting and analyzing a wide range of project data, and quantifying and modeling for a robust KPI measuring system.
Several of these tools were designed and tailored as reporting tools within the eBuilder platform to monitor key processes and their progress, and design various versions for different audiences. These tools will directly communicate with project owners to help improve their KPIs. This process will also help develop dashboards to review and gauge performance among different project teams.
The analysis from these tools will also help to closely review each individual project’s life cycle schedule, construction schedule, and audit submitted schedules on a periodical basis for scheduling logic and integrity. These tools will additionally help to interview project owners for delay reasons, and map out major delay reasons for different types of projects for lessons learned.
