NYCDEP Hunts Point WWTP Phase III Digestors Upgrade

The Hunts Point WWTP Phase 3R project primarily provides the Plant with new polymer addition facilities, installation of platforms to access aeration tank valves, replacement of various pumps and valves, and refurbishment of the digester tanks (clean sludge from tanks and replace liner seals). Phase 3R also provides new security cameras to plant video surveillance system, as well as a complete electrical system including power distribution, control wiring and lighting and receptacle system. 

As a part of the Construction Management Services team, Techno has provided construction management services for the entire duration of the project. Our services include: 

• Inspecting and verifying Electrical work as per contract drawings. 
• Review submittal and shop drawings. 
• Review test procedures for Electrical equipment; also participate in testing of Motor Control Centers (MCC’s), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS’s). 
• Review and verify the monthly partial payments. 
• Inspecting Instruments & Controls work, point to point loops test, and verifying instruments are calibrated. 
• Review system reliability. 
• Testing of PMS system.
