NYCDDC Resurfacing, Pavement Improvements and General Repairs at Various Locations

The project consisted of  resurfacing roads and streets with  2”  inches of Asphaltic Concrete Wearing Courses (A.C.W.C.), and the installation of side-walks, adjacent curbs, and pedestrian ramps where necessary for various lo-cations as directed within the designated streets in the boroughs of Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Queens.

Techno provided construction quality inspection and construction management services for this project as a consultant to the NYC Department of De-sign and Construction. This included but was not limited to ensuring compliance with NYSDOT/NYCDOT/ADA standards for construction and overall compliance with the contract documents and contract requirements (i.e. materials approvals, safety plan approvals, sub-contractor compliance, etc.).

Additionally, Techno quantified payments for the contractor, and monitored the budget accordingly. Techno was also responsible for providing weekly and monthly updates to both the NYCDOT and the NYCDDC. Techno organized and run the progress meetings. We also put together the documents required to assess the property owners (when appropriate) for the construction services provided by the City.
