MTA-NYCT Brooklyn Bus Command Cente

NYCT Department of Buses and MTA Bus Company is building a project which will design, furnish, and construct a new Bus Command Center located at Fanchon Place and Jamaica Avenue at East New York in the borough of Brooklyn. The work will also consist of but not limited to: architectural, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, structural and utility, fire alarm and HVAC systems, and the removal of hazardous material. 

The $17.2 million, Bus Command Center is currently under construction. Foundations are complete with steel erection underway. Construction management services include coordination of all building trades: 

• Construction Inspection 
• Constructability review of the construction contract documents, includ-ing specifications and drawings 
• Assists Project Estimators in aiding the Project Manager in the administration of project cost and cost analysis 
• Performing estimating functions for changes and addenda including back-up estimates 
• Assists in supervising the document and shop drawing control systems
• Assists the Project Estimators in reviewing engineering activities in pre paration of project proposals, including estimates for engineering staff ing, quantities, scope reviews.
