DC Water Green Infrastructure in Rock Creek and Potomac River

District of Columbia Water & Sewer Authority (DC Water), required construction management and other services associated with the construction of Green Infrastructure (GI). This involved various bioretention methods for planters, curb extensions and open areas, which included permeable pavement for, allies, parking lanes, sidewalks, and other associated restoration and site improvements. 

As a subconsultant to RK&K, Techno provided quality construction inspection and construction management services for this DC Water project.  

This project consist of: 

• General Construction Management
• Office Engineering including review of all shop drawings not reviewed by the Design Engineer
• Schedules 
• Construction Contractor submittals 
• Quality Assurance 
• Environmental Compliance & Monitoring 
• Assistance with permits, right of way, maintenance of traffic
• Safety oversight as directed

In addition, Techno helped provide written interpretations and clarifications to contract documents, in response to requests for information (RFIs) initiated by the contractor, subcontractors or vendors as well as received, logged, stamped, routed, filed and uploaded all correspondence to CM14 from the Contractor, DC Water and all other parties involved.
