Senior Vice President
Wallace (Wally) Caban is a Senior Vice President at Techno, where he leads the firm’s Rail, Transit & Aviation efforts across the Northeast Region. Wally brings over 40 years of construction-industry experience and a wealth of knowledge to the firm in terms of project delivery, client relations and regional context.
Prior to joining Techno, Wally worked with the PANYNJ for 30 years, and most recently served as Chief of Construction for the Construction Management Division — a 500-person organization responsible for rehabilitation and facility improvements across the Authority’s network of six major airports, four bridges, two tunnels, three transportation terminals, the PATH railway system, and multiple cargo ports. A career highlight was his on-site coordination of the Bayonne Bridge “Raise the Roadway” project, which opened the New York Kill Van Kull channel to Port Newark and Port Elizabeth for larger freighters in 2017.
Wally is a Licensed Professional Engineer, a CCM and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology(NJIT).
