Suriel Zayas, PMP, ENV SP

Suriel Zayas is a Senior Vice President at Techno where he leads the Transportation Market. Since joining in 2023, Suriel has built our relationship with NYSDOT, helping the firm begin providing Construction Management and REI Services across New York’s major Roadways and Highways. He oversees many additional efforts including

Suriel brings 35 years of experience and has worked on some of the most complex infrastructure and transportation projects in the New York metropolitan area. Prior to Techno, Suriel held senior leadership roles at Paco Group, Gannett Flemming and began his career at the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), contributing to projects such as the Gowanus Expressway. A highlight of his career includes managing the reconstruction of Fulton Street for the NYC Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC), a critical corridor connecting the east side of Manhattan to the World Trade Center.

Suriel holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from New York University and a Masters in Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is also certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP).
