Prakash Donde, P.E., DBIA

Prakash Donde is a Senior Vice President and leads the firm’s Tunneling and Design-Build practice across the Northeast and at a National Scale. With over 40 years of professional experience in the planning, design, and construction management of highway, transit, water, and wastewater tunneling and infrastructure projects, Prakash provides strategic and technical oversight for some of the firm’s most complex underground programs.

Prior to joining Techno, Prakash served as President of Jenny Engineering Corporation (COWI Tunnel), a firm specializing in underground engineering. During his tenure, he managed numerous design and construction projects, including major metro systems in Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Taipei, and Singapore, as well as several highway tunnel and water infrastructure programs such as NYC Water Tunnel No. 3 and the Anacostia River Crossing.

Prakash holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Structural and Geotechnical Engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and eight other states, a certified member of DBIA, a Fellow of ASCE, and a member of The Moles. In 2015, he received the “Leader of Industry” award from the Concrete Industry Board of New York for his contributions to the tunneling sector.
