Farhan Syed, P.E.

Farhan Syed is a Senior Vice President with Techno. Since joining the firm in 2017, Farhan has led our Water & Waste Water efforts, along with our Vertical Construction market across the entire Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Region. Farhan has over 30 years of professional experience in the planning, design, and construction of major facility and infrastructure projects, in both the public and private sector.

Prior to joining Techno, Farhan served as the Vice President for Construction Programs for the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). In this position with NYCHA, Farhan was responsible to lead NYCHA’s Capital Project Division (CPD) project management teams in managing a wide range of construction projects in the agency’s Capital Plan from inception to completion. Prior to his tenure with NYCHA, Farhan served as a Vice President at HAKS, where he managed a portfolio of multiple facility and infrastructure projects for various City and State agencies.

Farhan is a licensed Professional Engineer. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering from NED University of Technology and Engineering in Karachi, Pakistan and received his MS in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
