Techno is pleased to announce that David Rettig, MBA, P.E., has joined the firm as Vice President of Design Services. With nearly 40 years of experience in transportation planning, engineering, capital program management, and strategic leadership, David brings extensive expertise in delivering complex infrastructure programs and leading multidisciplinary teams.
Prior to joining Techno, David served as Vice President at TYLin | Sam Schwartz City Solutions, where he supported transportation planning, engineering, and program management initiatives. Previously, David spent over 35 years with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), most recently serving as Director of Planning and Capital Program Management. Throughout his tenure, he held numerous leadership positions overseeing regional transportation planning, capital programs, bridge engineering, and infrastructure development across New York State.
David is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo and an MBA from the University at Albany. His combination of technical expertise, public-sector leadership, and strategic planning experience will support Techno’s continued growth and expansion of its design and engineering services.
